Alderman Suarez has always made education a top priority since first elected in 1991.  Each of the public schools in the 31st Ward have undergone major structural repairs during his tenure as alderman.  To date, more than 91 million dollars have been invested into the area schools.  Following is a breakdown of how the dollars were allocated:

CITY SERVICES

 

Alderman continues to make city services a top priority.  He maintains that city services are a basic right for the 31st Ward residents.  As Alderman, he has gained the respect of city officials and is known as an “aggressive” alderman, persistent in addressing the needs of his constituents.
